Jose is a personal assistant operated by Jose Technologies Ltda., based in Brazil. For privacy enquiries: privacy@heyjose.ai.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what's necessary to deliver the service:

• Contact data: phone number (WhatsApp/Telegram) or email address (Web App).
• Conversation content: messages you exchange with Jose to process your requests.
• Preferences and memory: information you share to personalise your experience.
• Usage data: anonymous technical logs to improve the service.

3. How we use your data

• Process your messages and deliver responses.
• Maintain reminders and conversation context.
• Improve service quality (in aggregate, anonymised form).
• Comply with legal obligations.

We never sell your data to third parties. Ever.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on legitimate interest for service delivery and, where applicable, your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. After closure, personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where legally required.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete your data.
• Request data portability.
• Withdraw consents.
• Know who we share your data with.

7. Security

We apply TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access control, and continuous monitoring. See our Security page for technical details.

8. Changes to this policy

We will notify users at least 15 days in advance of material changes, via an in-service message.
